Summer Swim Days are Here!

School's out for summer
You will find me at the pool
Swimming, water, fun!

The water is warm
Mommy says I am a fish
I'll stay in all day

Desert heat on me
But I know how to stay cool
Big splash, cannon ball

I'm ready to jump
Daddy says I am so fast
Summer is a blast!
It's Haiku Friday!  Check out more poems at Playgroups are No Place for Children

Your pool is beautiful. Enjoy. We still have a couple of weeks of school left...and a lot of cool temps, evidently. Hopefully warm weather will be here soon--not too warm though.

that pool is gorgeous and the pictures are delicious!
Great haiku!
'summer' has been here for weeks and we are on our second 'blow up' pool.
I love pools but they're death to real estate here. We just hit the sand and surf.
Hi :-)

Great pics! It's as hot there as it is here.

Have a great long weekend!

Didn't know the boy could do cartwheels on the water. That's ranking right up there with healing lepers. Have you talked to a priest about this?

Fun series of photos and haiku today! It’s raining in Southern California this weekend … and school won’t be out for another 3 or 4 weeks (since I’m retired I don’t pay attention like I did while I taught), but I suspect the kids around here would love to be joining your kids in play!

I didn’t have time earlier to read many HF posts, but am trying to catch up a bit today. I posted on each blog Friday … multi-tasking as I so often do. HF#41 and HF#42
Hope you're enjoying your holiday weekend!
Hugs and blessings,
