Up, up, and away
the parachute flies skyward

At my husband's company picnic a few weeks ago, the kids enjoyed playing with this giant parachute. My kids, in blue and brown, are the three running under the parachute in the first picture. They also loved making the balls bounce into the air by waving the parachute up and down.

Oh how fun! I remember doing this at PE in elem. It looks like they loved it as much as I did!
This was my all time most favorite game in elementary school. I wonder if you can buy those anywhere...sure I might be 23 but who doesn't want to play parachute!
I remember doing parachute play in elementary school. I used to think it was so neat to toss it up and then move inside the dome as it came down. What great pictures and a fun activity. :)
Looks like fun! The colors on the chute made it more interesting too! Kids of all ages seemed to enjoy it too!

To this day I remember the whole parachute thing that I did as a kid as just being so much fun and just so cool. We did it so rarely that maybe that's why I have such fond memories. What fun!
