An Original Storytellin' Mama...

I love this Native American Storyteller. My mother-in-law gave it to me a few years ago. It honors the oral tradition of storytelling. My kids love to look at it and name which child they are in the storyteller's lap.

Storytellin' at our house

My kids all love books and I love the quiet moments before bed when we can read and laugh together!

I love a good story before Sleep.
I think the photos are great of them all in the bed listening to the story.

oh i love it! What a great post.
I think the love of books and stories are some of the most powerful things parents can give their children.

Stories before bedtime are one of my favorite
memories of my children's early years.

I love to read and I know it was largely due to my
mom reading to me when I was little.

It's so great to see that tradition being carried on
with my grandchildren.

Pretty cool! That is always a great moment with the kids! I loved when I was read to as a kid and my kids love it now...I just need to be better at making the time for it! :)
